some updates on our new record:

1. the record is tentatively titled, "music in our homes."

2. the tentative tracklist is as follows:

3. we are aiming to release this record before the year is over.

A new device has entered scenic square studios, this time a Soundcraft 1600 Producer series 24 channel console.

I'm excited, we're all excited. it's been modded a great deal by a succession of people, and has a great deal of history - it was used to record and mix the Styx album 'edge of the century' as well as several other semi-classic 70s and 80s bands.

tomorrow consists of rewiring the ENTIRE setup to accomodate this giant fellow.

special thanks to Mome Rath, Array, and Mr. Serig for helping me get the beast up the stairs. a VU meter broke in the process and some of the glass lacerated my finger, but you gotta shed some blood if you want some oil.

right?

When you can make guitars sound like synths!!!!

some experiments in noise tonite. Having multiple loopers set up makes things go round n round a lot, makes good ambience. we here at scenic like to sleep on beds of sound....

but dont get us wrong, we still <3 our synths.
